Open Air Cinema - The Wedding Banquet (OmdU)

Min and his partner Chris are subletting from their lesbian friends Angela and Lee. No one in his Korean homeland knows about his gay life in Seattle. To appease his family of origin, he plans a sham marriage with Angela. The wedding: pro forma. But then Min's resolute grandmother Ja-young (Academy Award winner Youn Yuh-Jung from MINARI) announces her arrival. And she, of course, expects a traditional wedding with all the trimmings! The remake of Ang Lee's THE WEDDING BANQUET (1993) is a turbulent queer romantic comedy full of heart and family catastrophes. Will there be a yes to happiness and true love in the end?
