Sínelection

SİNELECTION presents current films that have rarely been shown in cinemas in Germany. Despite having international success at film festivals, many films often don't get afterlife in cinemas. Sneak previews and Berlin / Germany premieres will also be part of this series. All films are shown as original versions with English subtitles.

Babylon Kinderwagenkino

Since April 2006, young families with babies have had the opportunity to watch current cinema films in a child-friendly atmosphere every Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Babylon. Prams are parked in the cinema and babies are allowed to lie or crawl on the blanket they have brought with them.

Irrsinnig Menschlich

Babylon Orchester Berlin

The BABYLON ORCHESTER BERLIN was founded in 2019 as a silent film orchestra at the BABYLON. The BABYLON is thus the only cinema since the end of the silent film era where a cinema orchestra regularly performs, making it possible to once again experience the art form of live-accompanied films just as much as opera or concerts.

Frühstückskino

Every second Thursday of the month, the popular breakfast cinema takes place at the Casablanca at 10:00 a.m. (film starts around 11:00 a.m.) . Enjoy a selected film from our current program, including coffee or tea and a sandwich. Please note: A surcharge applies to the regular ticket price! Indo-German Film Week

Babywolfgang

Every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Baby Wolfgang presents current films for parents and their babies (up to 11 months) - breastfeeding and sleeping are more than welcome! Thanks to reduced volume and dimmed lighting, your babies will feel comfortable. And should one or the other baby be unhappy and cry during the show, the other parents will surely understand.

b-ware Kinderwagenkino

We regularly offer baby-friendly screenings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11 a.m. We want to give parents with small children the opportunity to enjoy a movie. There's space for strollers, the film is played at a slightly lower volume to avoid waking babies, cries are tolerated, and, if desired, the room remains dimly lit so parents can accommodate their little ones' needs.

Babylon Neuer Deutscher Film

Die Reihe NEUER DEUTSCHER FILM präsentiert brandneue, deutsche Filme als Premiere und mit Filmgespräch - in Anwesenheit der Regisseure und Hauptdarsteller. Die Veranstaltungen sind öffentlich. Babylon Videoart at Midnight

VIDEOART AT MIDNIGHT is an artists’ cinema project founded in 2008 by Olaf Stüber and Ivo Wessel. Monthly since, and always on a Friday at midnight, Stüber has been inviting predominantly Berlin based artists to show their work on the big screen of the legendary BABYLON Film Theater in the Berlin Mitte district.

Vinylrausch
