Silent Films at Midnight

Then it’s “ZERO o’clock – ZERO euros” – and admission is free.
Live on the cinema organ: Anna Vavilkina, the Babylon organist, playing the soundtrack to the night films live at the witching hour. A series about big city life, frivolity, and the spooky.
Attention: No admission guaranteed if you arrive late!
The Babylon opened on April 11, 1929, as a silent film cinema and boasts the only cinema organ in Germany preserved in its original location. The tradition of cinema palaces—still alive today in London and Los Angeles—also exists in Berlin, and only at the Babylon. In addition to silent films, Anna Vavilkina also performs almost daily before film screenings and live events. This is unique in the German cinema scene.
