Young prosecutor Seyo Kim is determined to confront the rise of far-right violence in Germany. This mission becomes intensely personal when she is the target of a racist attack, only narrowly surviving. Defying the instructions of her superiors, Seyo launches her own investigation, uncovering links between seemingly isolated incidents and a broader network of right-wing extremism. As she digs through archives, reopens closed cases and follows leads others would rather ignore, she is forced to confront the limits of a justice system that claims neutrality while failing those it is meant to protect. Blending political thriller and courtroom drama, Faraz Shariat's latest offering, which premiered at Berlinale 2026, is a gripping examination of institutional power, accountability and the enduring threat of far-right violence in contemporary Germany.
