Antoine Toussaint (Gérard Darmon) is a famous but disillusioned chanson singer in his early seventies, traveling to Geneva, Switzerland, to carry out a rather final decision. The train journey initially proceeds without incident, but then a chance encounter changes everything. He meets Victoire (Valérie Lemercier), a warm-hearted and somewhat eccentric admirer whose openness and unconventional nature disrupt his plans. An unexpected exchange develops between the world-weary musician and the vivacious stranger.
