Hazal's greatest wish: a chance in life. Despite countless applications, she cannot find an apprenticeship. Instead, she encounters prejudice and is repeatedly put in her place. But on her 18th birthday, Hazal feels strong. She wants to go out partying with her best friends at Berlin's hippest club. Full of anticipation, they stand in line. But the bouncer turns them down. Hazal is shown once again that she does not belong. On the way home, they are harassed by a pushy student. The situation escalates. Hazal flees headlong to Istanbul, a brand-new city in a country she doesn't know. There she must survive on her own, no matter what the cost.
