A typical day on a surgical ward: critically injured patients need treatment and post-operative care, while privileged but selfish privately insured patients demand special treatment, and the nursing team is, of course, once again severely understaffed due to chronic shortages. Despite the hectic pace, Floria (Leonie Benesch) cares for her patients expertly and with complete dedication. Although she gives her all, she is slowly running on fumes, and the late shift seems to be spiraling out of control – until she finally makes a fateful mistake.
