Open Air Cinema - Alfilm Presents: Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo (OmeU)

The film portrays the younger generation’s complex grappling with contemporary Egyptian society. Hassan lives with his mother and his beloved dog Rambo in one of Cairo’s working-class neighbourhoods. When their landlord threatens to evict them, the family seeks legal redress, yet the landlord’s harassment grows more and more aggressive until one day, he attacks Hassan in a fit of rage. Hassan embarks on a journey across the megalopolis to find a safe refuge.
