For two years, David (Nils Rovira-Munoz) has been hiding in his room. The young man has cut himself off from the world; his only connection to the outside is the internet. He doesn't respond to his mother Kristin's (Katja Riemann) desperate attempts to talk to him through the closed door. But when she accidentally discovers that David has registered as "Goliath96" on an online forum, she sees a chance to re-establish contact with her son. She signs up for the forum herself. And it works. But the more intimate their online conversations become, the less control Kristin seems to have over the situation.
