May 23, 5:00 PM at Filmrauschpalast: Artificial Intelligence, Real Love: Dystopian Dating featuring Ex Machina
The open stage for filmmakers.
Open Screening means: filmmakers can present their film (in whose production they were somehow involved) to the movie audience at Sputnik Kino without registration, without preselection, without a jury.
There are no other requirements, except that the film should not be longer than 25 minutes. The audience and the filmmakers have the opportunity to talk about the films after the screening. The Open Screening sees itself as a platform for filmmakers and film lovers and offers the perfect setting to “test” films in front of an audience for the first time, for example, to get feedback, to simply make films accessible to the public or to make contacts with other filmmakers for future projects.
From drama, comedy, music video, reportage, documentary, thriller to experimental film and even beyond, any format and any genre is possible. Racist, sexist, homophobic, discriminatory or other undesirable content can be stopped by the audience with a red card. Even if the film is stopped, there will be an exchange with the audience and filmmakers:
Film drop-off from 7:30 pm, “Film off!” from 8:30 pm (of course, films can be dropped off throughout the evening, so it is also possible to arrive later!) Playable formats: DVD, Blu-ray, mp4 with H264 audio codec and all VLC compatible formats. Maximum running time: approx. 25 min.
