Philadelphia Network

In 1965, the British psychiatrist R.D. founded Laing Philadelphia Association, whose main purpose was to establish therapeutic refuges for people in mental crisis, however without using the coercive methods of established psychiatry. The film shows glimpses of the diversity of activities that are currently produced by the organization, with the main emphasis on a "birthing workshop" led by Laing himself.
