Carrie: The Master Cut

The Master Cut is a cinematic reconstruction of the original 1988 production of the musical Carrie. Intensively pieced together with a combination of 15 restored video and audio sources and dozens of photographs, The Master Cut is a celebration of the 34th anniversary of the world premiere performance of Carrie on 13 February 1988 in Stratford-upon-Avon. The production was presented by The Royal Shakespeare Company before transferring to Broadway, stunning audieces with an experience that, to this day, continues to be unforgettable. The Master Cut merges together the Stratford and Broadway incarnations to create a stirring assembly of the complete original production of Carrie.
