Music Series feat. The Matrix (OmU) + Dance Party

ReSee Movies is kicking off its newest community film series, this time with a focus on movies with iconic soundtracks and film scores! From techno to folk and from classical to hip hop, we'll screen films famous for their music and combine screenings with intimate live music performances right there in the cinema!

It's only right that we kick off this series with electronic music-focused event, and with a movie that changed Hollywood forever: The Matrix. 

For many of us, The rave scenes in the Matrix gave us our first glimpse at club culture, and the soundtracks featuring a variety of mind-bending electronica opened our minds to what music could sound like. And on Friday the 26th, we're going to recreate that feeling with a screening + rave of our own! 

The screening of the Matrix will start at 8pm, with live DJ performances beginning after the film and going until late.
